This year there will be 120 or so real ales to titivate your taste buds, from 30+ regional members of SIBA (check out the Beer List tab on the left)). Following the competition on Friday you will be able to sample the winning beers from 5pm onwards and check-out if you agree with the judges verdicts ! This year there will also be Cider available, sourced from local suppliers.
Soft drinks and food are available at all sessions. There will be a BBQ on Saturday & Sunday and a Hog Roast on Saturday (takes a while to cook so probably not 'til the afternoon!).
Plus this year Friday night is Curry night.!!
Musical entertainment is provided on Sunday afternoon by local concert band "Second Wind", who will play a wide variety of music to suit all tastes. Watch this space for news of entertainments on Saturday t.b.c. …..
Also planned for Saturday are a limited number of tutored tastings, where a brewer of highest esteem will guide a select audience through the nuances of the various beer category winners. Check out the availability, cost & timings of these sessions at the Festival.
The Festival is above all family friendly, with plenty of space outside on the grass for picnics and ball games.
If we are blessed with good weather again this year, there can be no better way to while away a few convivial hours with friends.
